The Project
We are proposing to build a renewable energy development in southeastern South Australia that will generate clean power for Australian homes and businesses.
The South East Power Hub - Renewables
The power hub will include:
- Wind and solar generation
- A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
- Power transmission infrastructure
These components will work together around the clock to generate approximately 2 GW of power, sufficient to supply up to 600 MW of clean, dispatchable renewable energy for the South Australian network.
TE H2 is also investigating the potential for producing green hydrogen from an expansion of the site, for domestic heavy industry and potential export, however, this will be subject to separate approvals once further feasibility studies are completed.
As the project is in early stages of development and feasibility assessment, we are currently looking to secure easement options for a grid connection route to the existing 275kV transmission system.
